Dr Usama Ahmed
MBBS, BSc(Hons), DFPM, PGCertMedEd, MRCS, DOHNS
Founder & Clinical Director
Dr Ahmed is a Specialty Registrar in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery on the prestigious London training scheme with interests in minimally invasive ear surgery. He qualified as a doctor from University College London in 2013 with a Merit in Medical Sciences. Dr Ahmed holds post-graduate qualifications in surgery, ENT surgery, medical education & French.
Dr Ahmed is particularly interested in introducing new technologies to improve clinical practice and The Ear Specialist is the perfect example of this!
Outside of work, Dr Ahmed is a keen artist who dabbles in sculpture, geometry and calligraphy.
Dr Tharshiney Shivabalendran

Founder & Clinical Director
Dr Shivabalendran is a General Practitioner with an interest in the Ear, Nose and Throat specialty. She is a qualified doctor from St George's University of London, she also holds an intercalated degree in Pharmacology from King's College London.
Dr Shivabalendran refined her skills whilst working in the Ear, Nose and Throat department where she went on to complete the first part of the Diploma of Head and Neck Surgery. She is passionate about self-development and providing the best care to her patients.
In her free time, Dr Shivabalendran enjoys reading, travelling and new dining experiences.

Our Consent Process
Our primary aim is patient safety and we will ensure that any treatment we offer you is suitable given your specific symptoms, background and medical history.
We will run through a series of tailored questions
to ensure that there is no reason why a specific treatment
would not be suitable for you.
With The Ear Specialist, your level of risk from our services
will be minimised as we are experienced in providing our treatments to the highest standard. Of course, as with many things in life, there are always risks associated with medical treatments. We are a transparent service and will communicate any possible risks in the simplest of terms. We will only proceed once we are sure that you are happy and we have gained your full consent to proceed. We will also ask for your consent to take unidentifiable video and image recordings of your ear before, during and after treatment for clinical, teaching and marketing purposes.
